Happy Fourth of July everyone and happy four months to baby Isla!
She had her four month check up and is doing great! 13 lbs, 2 oz and 25 inches long! Had her shots which made her a bit cranky for the rest of the day. Not a fan of the shots! Lately she has been rolling around like crazy! Sometimes she is happy about ending up on her tummy and sometimes she isn't. She doesn't even keep still while sleeping! She'll be sitting up and crawling before we know it! Yikes! She loves to suck on her fingers and she just figured out how to blow bubbles which keeps her occupied for some time! Still a bit weary of the camera so it can be hard to capture her big smiles!
Here are some pics of Isla from the Fourth of July -- we borrowed our neighbor's backyard (thanks Gene and Nicole!) and just had a quiet (hot) day!
judging by isla's expressions, i think the fireworks could have been better this year. glad to see that she's doing so well! hopefully one day she will learn to love shots like the rest of us...
