World Traveler

Sorry for the lack of posts! We've had a busy November, so I'll try and get you all up to speed over the next few posts.

First off, at the beginning of this month, we took our little one to the lovely country of beans-on-toast, England! We went with my parents (Grandma and Pop) on a short but sweet jaunt across the pond, stopping over there for about seven days. But we managed to fit a lot in! We started off by spending a few days in London (Isla just had to have tea with the Queen, of course) and then spent the rest of the time in and around Leamington Spa, where her Grandma grew up. The wee one was in high demand with so many people psyched to meet her (and see us too, I suppose!). So needless to say we were busy. The best part of the trip was watching her meet close friends, lots and lots of second cousins (from both sides of the family, from the States and the UK), along with her great-aunts and great-uncles AND her great-grandmother! One thing is for sure, Isla is a very social creature and is very much an extrovert. She did very well with all sorts of new people in her face! : ) Here are some favorite shots from the visit!
