Summer in the city

It's definitely getting hot up here in the NYC! So we are taking to the water every chance we get! Thought we'd share some of our water fun:

Isla's friends came over recently to hang out by the pool on the deck which was a huge hit (thanks again Uncle Rob, Jen and Cavanna)! Mommy's camera ran out of juice, but luckily Isla's friend Zadia's Mom was able to take some fun shots which you can see here on her blog! The babies were so psyched to see the pool, they practically jumped in! So we didn't quite have a chance to get their swim diapers on! Here is Charlotte, Oliver (who I think enjoyed the pool the most, despite his expression here), Isla and Zadia.

Not far from our place is the Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 6 which has an awesome Water Lab that Isla has had fun playing in a few times. . .

And yesterday we took a day trip with Isla's friend Jin to one of the Rockaway beaches, which was a nice change of pace! Isla liked to snack on sand (unfortunately) and loved having the waves wash over her feet!

And I guess if we're talking water, we can't forget the old standby. . . the bathtub!!!
