Beach bum

A few weeks ago it was HOT (felt like 115 F!) So we tried our best to stay cool! We covered windows with trash bags (sad), slept in the living room (sad), visited Ikea and Barnes & Noble in search of cool air rather than Swedish furniture and books (kinda fun)!! And we went to the beach! Twice! Isla really liked standing on the shore, watching the waves wash over her feet, eating sand (grrreat), playing with her shovel, and waving to planes passing by (cuuuute):
