For the last couple of weekends we've spent part of our Saturdays as spectators of a popular Maryland past time known as horse racing. Steeplechase racing to be exact. It's pretty exciting to watch the horses run by at full speed, jumping fences through the pretty Maryland countryside. (Sometimes they even lose their jockey, but continue racing along with their buddies! Luckily, no one has been injured too badly as far as we know.) Isla really liked seeing the horses and even got to pet one of the smaller ones (this kid has no fear of animals).
