Now that it's almost September, let's talk about July! It will make the summer (that feels as though has so suddenly come to an end) last just a little bit longer, no? We enjoyed a nice long weekend in NNK for the Fourth of July holiday. Madonna and Maureen joined us for a day as well. The weather was perfect, not steamy-hot like in previous years. We explored a local sunflower field, ate great food and enjoyed fun family time. This year Isla was a bit more cautious around the fireworks and didn't even want to play around with the "sprinklers" (aka sparklers)! Vivian never really got a chance to experience them since she was in bed by the time it was dark out. Next year! Happy (belated) Fourth!
