Uh oh!! Looks like we've got a thumb sucker! We had stopped giving her a pacifier per the recommendations of my lactation consultant and now she won't take one and we weren't going to push it since it can be difficult to take them away. So instead, she tends to suck on her hands from time to time. Well now I guess she has found her thumb! How do you wean a baby from sucking on her own thumb???
i can relate, i was a thumbsucker once too... like until i was in third grade :) but don't worry, i'm sure she'll grow out of it!
ReplyDeleteps -- i was going to get you the cutest pacifier i'd ever seen but couldn't find the store i saw it in! i was seriously on a manhunt in philly. but i guess good thing i didn't find it!
