Easter

As we said around Christmastime, holidays are becoming more fun since Isla is a bit older and understands what's going on. For Easter we decided to make egg-shaped ornaments for our Easter tree. Isla enjoyed the process of making the salt dough (then trying to eat it - not to worry, I didn't let her) painting the ornaments and hanging a few before getting bored and moving onto another activity. While Vivi (not pictured) was more of an observer in these activities, we're looking forward to when she's ready jump in and participate (no pressure).

LOVE watching her work!

until she gets bored and starts making a mess
(which we love, too)

ornaments drying before the glitter layer(s)

this is what she did to pass the time while waiting
for them to dry (pretending to be a cat)

peek-a-boo!

finished product: "these are my favorite"

Then early on Easter morning she enjoyed a little egg hunt around the house almost as much as we enjoyed setting it up.

you can kinda see the easter tree here!

oops, almost missed one!

woohoo!

checkin' out the stash

enough with the stickers, give me candy!
