I recently let go of my over-protective-first-time-motherness (only this one time!) and enrolled Isla in a swim class at our local YMCA! We go every week with some of the ladies and babes from Team Milk (more on that later). We sing songs, teach the babes how to kick and get comfortable being in the water. She seems to enjoy herself. She likes to look around at the other babies, sometimes tries to drink the water and sucks on her fingers. She is quite the kicker when she feels like it! In other words, she doesn't cry unless she accidentally swallows a bunch of water. Best part is that Isla naps like a champ afterwards! Oh, and we get to wear these cool caps! Jealous?!
